Working principle: When connected to a 3-5V power supply, 37 LEDs are divided into 4 groups. Whenever the power is turned on, the 4 transistors will compete to conduct. As Q1 conducts, its collector voltage drops, causing the left end of capacitor C2 to drop to nearly 0V. Since the voltage across the capacitor cannot suddenly change, Q2's base is also connected to approximately 0V, and Q2 is turned off. Therefore, LED2 connected to its collector will turn off; At this time, the high voltage of Q2 increases the collector voltage of Q3 through capacitor C3, and Q3 will quickly conduct, causing LED3 to light up. Therefore, during a certain period of time, the collectors of Q1 and Q3 are both at a low level, LED1 and LED3 are lit up, and LED2 is turned off. However, as the power supply charges C2 through resistor R2, the base voltage of Q2 gradually increases. When it exceeds 0.7V, Q2 changes from off state to on state, the collector voltage decreases, LED2 lights up, and at the same time, the voltage of Q2's collector decreases through C3, causing Q3's base voltage to also decrease. Q3 changes from on to off, and its collector voltage increases. LED3 This group will turn off, and then the circuit will cycle according to the process described above. Three groups of 18 LEDs will light up alternately, and two groups will be lit up at the same time.
